This is what happens when you lose practise...i've been writing erratically for the last few weeks...basically cuz i said i'd finish with the day2 & day3 posts in the 'delhi' series, but been too lazy to collate all the info...damn procrastination
Was reading an article on someone yesterday, happened to meet her recently and 'googled' her...found she loves to Salsa...hehehe....handy info for the next time she's in town. This in turn got me thinking about all the little things that people know about me - and i don't even know that they know....y'know, it's putting yourself in that place where someone can catch you off guard by saying something you completely DO NOT expect them to know?...it's a strange feeling...and you're left with, "How did he/she know....where...when did i say...*scratching head*..."
I don't have any particular plans for christmas or new year...we were supposed to go to Chigmagulur for new years eve, but dunno if that's happening...somehow i've got to that place where i'd really much rather spend 'special occasions' with people i know, as opposed to going out with a bunch of people i barely know....drinking...dancing....pretending to have a good time....maybe even having a good time...but then it ends up being just another party night with a 'new years eve' tag to it...what a waste of time...i sound like such a grandpa na? A friend of mine calls me that....'grandpa' cuz i'm always dishing out advice...even when she doesn't want to hear it....
I wonder what 2007 will be like...in the last coupl've years, i've increasingly started feeling as though the months just whoosh past and before you know it - it's new years eve all over again...i hope i don't feel this way, come 2008...
I'm thinking, what if i gave up all this...and became a hermit (not exactly). Lived in the mountains...walked my dog in the morning...wrote books...had a vegetable garden in the backyard...hehehehe....im thinking of all this and laughing in my head :) ...the way life is right now, i'd go mad in two days if i became a hermit!
